The magazine I read voraciously as a music-obsessed teen. To go on to write a video games column for them was a dream come true, to do the first mainstream magazine interview with Manic Street Preachers for The Hits was the single greatest afternoon of my life.
This was the photo that was in the original top left corner of the spread. I cut it out and literally carried it around looking at it for decades.
